new house, new kid :)

Hi all,
As I start all my posts, I apologize for the delay.  I hope you understand we've been super busy!  Having a new baby and moving into a new house is a lot of work haha.  Things are finally starting to come together though.  Brendan is doing GREAT!  He is getting super big...almost ready for 6 month clothes :)  Lea is doing awesome too...she's running around everywhere loving all the space in this house.  Here are a few pics :)

Introducing....Brendan Patrick Parker!

On Wednesday, July 28 at 5:26am we welcomed a new member into our family. Brendan Patrick Parker arrived 2 weeks early to join us :) He weighed 6 lb 2 oz and was 19 and 1/4 inches long.

I went to the doctor Tuesday morning for a scheduled

appointment. I was 2 cm and having some random contractions. We had talked that if I didn't go into labor on my own, Monday I would go in to have my membranes stripped so the baby would arrive before Joe

y leaves for a possible training. At about 3:30 that after

noon I was pretty sure he was going to make an appearance that day. My contractions started coming very regular

and the pain was getting a little stronger (nothing compared to what I felt with Lea though! haha) Around 9pm I told Joey it was time to go. When I got to the hospital, I was 3.5 cm...and they don't keep you unless you are 4cm. I started feeling really nervous b/c I got sent home with Lea and almost didn't make it back. They told me to walk around for an hour and then come back. We ended up coming back to our apartment and got Lea ready for bed and arrived back at the hospital at 11:30. I was good to go at 4cm and th

ey admitted me and I got my epidural. It was amazing-defiantly the way to go :) Finally around 5:

20am I was feeling slight pressure and they said he was coming. I pushed once and Brendan arrived. It was amazing. Joey and Lea were in the room and it was a great family experience. Anyways, enough of my story telling...here are some pics of the little guy :)

We're in Colorado!!

Hello everyone, I am sorry it's been so long (again) since the last time I updated this. We've been super busy with moving and house hunting and waiting for our new home to be ready! Colorado is great, but I can't wait until we are out of hotels.

Lea is growing up so fast. It seems like everything is on fast forward...she's standing up on her own, has 5 teeth all the way in and 3 more pushing through, and can master 4 steps all by herself!!! She talks and dances all day long. We are really trying to spoil her with attention since her new little brother should be here in about 3 weeks :) Life is about to get crazy....

Anyways, here are some pictures I have taken. I know there aren't many, but at least you can see how my baby is growing :) Enjoy!!!!

Spring is here!

It's finally warm! Yea! haha We have been trying to get out and enjoy the warm weather here in NC. It's so nice to not have to bundle up and wear socks all the time :) Things have been going great. Lea is getting taller every single day and is more and more active. The same can be said about the little one growing in my tummy...I don't know how I'm going to make it until August!

I had my first ultrasound two weeks ago and we found out that LP2 (little parker 2) is a BOY! I was super excited, and Joey couldn't be happier.

It's a boy!!

He's long and skinny just like Lea was.

Catching up...

Ok...I know it's been a long time since I've posted. I am sorry :) Here's the latest and greatest from the Parkers.

(For some reason the pictures posted in the opposite order that I meant for them to...so the first one is actually the newest and it goes back in time. I was not about to redo it all though as they were loading really slow!)

Lea's first day at the park. At first she cried, but as soon as I started pushing her she was laughing and loving it!
