6 months!

I can not believe it's been 6 months since Lea arrived!! Where does the time go?  Here are some previews of her latest photo shoot...if you are interested in ordering any please let me know :)

So happy...

Merry Christmas!
(Some of you will be seeing this on a Christmas card in the near future..so just act surprised!)

Doing her favorite thing...standing up.  I can't believe how strong those legs are!

This chair was pretty small and her skirt was kind of slippery.  If you notice on the right hand side there is a shadow.  That's me! haha  I was there just in case she slipped off as she hasn't really mastered sitting all by herself yet :)  We're getting SO close though.

A little Mommy/Daddy time :)

Myrtle Beach

Great Grandma and Grandpa Springer were nice enough to invite us to the beach for a week.  Joey had class...so it was just mommy and Lea for this trip.  Nana and Grandpa Troy were there too!  It was a great, relaxing week for everyone!

Lea loves playing in the sand with her toes!

The heated pool was nice :)

Ohio weekend

Friday we packed up the Patriot and headed to Ohio. Saturday was Mr. Parker's 60th birthday bash, and we do not like to miss a party! :) It was great to see all the aunts, uncles and cousins from that side of the family. It was pretty cold though, so Lea got to wear her jacket for the first time! I love her little hat. Her eyes were watering from the cold wind...so we only stayed outside for about 5 minutes. Then on Sunday, the Klinger clan came up and Grandma Deb was nice enough to stay with Lea while I went to the Browns game with the Parkers, as well as my dad, Kelsy, Patrick and my cousin Sarah. We had a great time, and the weather was wonderful! I even got a sunburn :) he he The only way it could have been better is if we would have won...story of the season! This was really only the 3rd or 4th time I've been away from Lea...so that was kind of hard to deal with, although I knew she was in great hands. :)The drive back was LONG-we had to leave as soon as the game was over because Joey had class at 7am. Thankfully, we made it home around 3:30 am so we got a few hours of sleep. It was a pretty easy drive though, as Lea slept most of the way. The only thing that was not cool was that I hit an opossum...rest in peace little guy! ha ha You and your family shouldn't play in the middle of the highway if you don't want to die! :)

Before the game, they had this giant flag out on the field

If only he did play on our team...we might win a game or two! haha

Hair, sippy cups, and more rolling

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here...sorry! Lea's doing great and getting bigger by the day it seems. I remember when she used to wear the size smaller than she was (wearing NB when she was 3 months...) and now at 5 months, 6 month clothes are fitting and probably won't be for too much longer! She's so tall that her pants sometimes are a little short :) Here's some random stuff that we've been up to.

Her orange hair is finally starting to come in a little more :)

Hi Mommy!

Taking her first drink out of her sippy cup
(It was water...and she had no idea what to do with it once it was in her mouth!) haha

She liked chewing on it more than drinking from it I think!

I know I already put a video up on here of her rolling over, but it doesn't do it justice. I can't even leave her alone in a room anymore b/c she rolls all around and bumps into stuff! I had her over by the fire place this morning, and by the time I brought in the groceries from the car, she was back behind the chair!! haha She had to have rolled over about 15 times to get there in literally about a minute. I attempted to capture her rolling around the living room in this video. I had to kind of tease her with my hand, as she was really tired and ready to be put down for a nap, but I think you'll get the idea. Enjoy :)

Rolling and rolling

Lea has been rolling over for a while now, but she has refused to show off her "skills" for anyone but me and Joey! haha I somehow got her to do it on camera...so here's my first attempt at uploading a video. I still can't believe how fast she's growing up!!

Rice cereal

After visiting the doctor today, we decided to give rice cereal a try. I was slighly nervous, as Lea was cranky from getting her shots, but to my surprise she did really well. She had a hard time at first...she had no idea what to do with it once it got in her mouth, but loved the spoon! After about 5 minutes though, she was a pro and wanted as much as I would give her. :)

First time in the high chair

Yummy!

She's got her eyes on the good stuff....haha

Daddy's turn (but making sure Mommy is still there..)

I can't believe how fast she's growing. She's officialy doubled her birth weight (coming in at a whopping 13.3 lbs) and is almost 29 inches long! Yikes!!!
