Rice cereal

After visiting the doctor today, we decided to give rice cereal a try. I was slighly nervous, as Lea was cranky from getting her shots, but to my surprise she did really well. She had a hard time at first...she had no idea what to do with it once it got in her mouth, but loved the spoon! After about 5 minutes though, she was a pro and wanted as much as I would give her. :)

First time in the high chair

Yummy!

She's got her eyes on the good stuff....haha

Daddy's turn (but making sure Mommy is still there..)

I can't believe how fast she's growing. She's officialy doubled her birth weight (coming in at a whopping 13.3 lbs) and is almost 29 inches long! Yikes!!!

Lea's Baptism

Lea's baptism was Saturday, September 19th. We were lucky that a lot of our family could join us for the celebration. (THANKS!) She looked super cute in her white outfit and was very well behaved. She was listening to Father very intently and taking it all very serious :)

More football

It's been slightly disappointing being an Ohio football fan lately! However, football season does come with fun outfits and great pictures :)

Lea's Brady Quinn shirt I made for her worked out great!

Daddy and Lea cheering for the Browns!
(I made the headband too!)

Go Bucks!
You can't see it, but her bib says "I slobber Scarlet and Grey"
(Thanks Nana!)

Michelle's Wedding

Lea's favorite babysitter got married this past weekend. Here are few pics of the family all dressed up. We are going to miss Michelle and Chris SO MUCH when they move away this month :(

Football season has arrived

We are all very excited at the Parker house that football season has begun. Here we are showing off our OSU gear for the first time this season. GO BUCKS! O H...

Family photos

When Lea turned 3 months, we decided it was time to have our first family picture taken. (If you don't count the cheesy one they took at the jeep dealership when we bought the Patriot...) We had to wait about an hour, but bless this little girl b/c she was sooo good...that is until they started snapping away. She cried almost the whole time! haha The pics still turned out cute though. I say the tears add character!

almost a slight grin
the only way she would lay down was on my legs, which are covered nicely here with some brown curtains

I'll give it a try...

Hello everyone!

Many of you have been asking if I have a blog to share things about Lea...so I thought I'd give it a try. Be patient with me as I figure it all out! :)
